I built RareFactory because I lived the problem.
Years of running brands through other people's factories taught me two things. First, you play factory roulette — every season a new vendor, every vendor a new excuse: MOQs you can't hit, samples that drift from spec, a twelve-hour timezone gap when something breaks. Second, you don't even get one vendor — you get fragmented vendors: designer, pattern maker, factory, freight, 3PL. Five contracts. Five places the ball gets dropped. By the time the order ships, the spec on the doorstep barely resembles the spec on the moodboard.
